As part of the 2024 National Volunteer Week celebrations, Strong Start’s volunteer technology advisor and software developer, Chris Howlett, along with Strong Start, CEO, Machelle Denison, were graciously hosted and interviewed by Mike Farwell on the Mike Farwell Show on 570 News Radio.
Chris shared more about his recent Ontario Senior Achievement Award and his contributions over the year to Strong Start as a volunteer technology advisor and a software developer for Strong Start’s two proprietary web applications, SiTE SOURCE™ and ViP™ (Volunteer Information Portal). Machelle spoke about Chris’ impact on Strong Start’s ability to scale and his incredible gifts of time and talent. She also shared how others get can get involved to help young children learn to read.
