Louise loves to move organizations forward through people development, process & tool innovation and collaboration. She leans on her CPA and financial discipline, to understand the story financial and non-financial numbers tell, to determine the next best steps towards an organization’s ultimate goal achievement.
Various Finance leadership roles within national Canadian retailers such as PetSmart Canada and Blockbuster Canada led to Louise’s initial role of Director of Finance at DedON. Louise believes organizations make the best decisions when relevant and reliable information is presented. During her tenure as President & Integrator at DedON, Louise led the organization to increase revenue by 100% while growing the team by 50%. Louise recently joined Holman Exhibits Ltd. as their President & Integrator.
Louise mitigates risk through actively listening to the organization, challenging the team to think differently and creating an open and honest environment for teams to solve issues and move ideas forward. Her leadership style is one of connection and collaboration.
Challenges to succeed given limited resources has always been a strength. Louise has developed teams to deliver remarkable projects under tight timelines, resulting in higher revenue & profitability achievement and creating raving fans with her internal and external clients.
Louise is Treasurer for the Strong Start Board of Directors.
