As the Regional Program Co-ordinator for the Elgin, Middlesex, Oxford, Christine is responsible for developing partnerships with school boards and schools in her region. She is also responsible for supporting Volunteer Coach and Site Co-ordinator training, program implementation at schools, volunteer recruitment, fundraising and promotions. Christine brings 27 years of experience working in the education field. She has taught JK/SK to Grade 8 and has worked as a Teacher-Librarian.
Christine holds a Master’s Degree in Language Arts Education and a PhD in Curriculum, Teaching, and Learning from the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Christine also has Specialist Qualifications in Special Education and is certified in TESOL. Christine works as an instructor in the Teacher Education Program at Brock University, and continues to be passionate about the power of literature and literacy to transform lives.
