On September 20, 2016, individuals of all ages made their way to St. Andrews United Church in Brantford for an evening of fun, friends, and bidding. The organizing committee collected fantastic items for the auction, from kitchen utensils courtesy of Pampered Chef to skin care products courtesy of Arbonne, while also running a 50/50 raffle. Everyone in attendance had a wonderful time supporting children’s literacy in Brantford. We were honoured to receive $1,820.00 to support the expansion of our Letters, Sounds and Words program across the community.
On behalf of all of us at Strong Start, we extend our sincere appreciation to Karen Towler and Andria Cruickshanks for hosting and organizing such a fantastic evening.
