Jennifer is the Technical Director, Market Systems, Women’s Economic Opportunities at Mennonite Economic Development Opportunities. In this role, Jennifer is responsible for developing and managing market-driven projects integrating women small scale producers, farmers and business owners into viable market systems. Prior to joining MEDA in 2015, Jennifer was the founding Executive Director of Social Venture Partners (SVP) in Waterloo Region. Jennifer also helped establish Capacity Canada, managing the organization’s social ventures and storytelling initiatives, and worked in Sri Lanka, building the organizational capacity of the Rural Enterprise Network. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Waterloo and an Entrepreneurship & Small Business Management diploma from George Brown College. Jennifer is the Chair-Elect for the Strong Start Board of Directors.
