This year’s A Blooming Affair Fashion Show, was a truly classy affair. The event, held on October 8, 2014, helped ‘outfit’ Strong Start, with half of the raffle proceeds going to support our early literacy programs. What a wonderful opportunity for us to share our story in the community! With VIP tickets, a cocktail reception, and boulevard of boutiques, attendees enjoyed a night out with their closest friends and relations. The evening was fun and flashy celebration of local fashion.
We had the opportunity to set up a display in the main lobby of Bingeman’s Grand Ball Room to provide attendees with more information on our organization and our volunteer opportunities. Last year’s event showcased our Letters, Sounds and Words program, as a child read a live an excerpt of Sean’s Story. This year, the focus was on Elzbieta’s Story from our preschool program, Get Ready for School.
